Betty is lovingly remembered by her son David (Laureen), her daughters Wanda and Gina, her grandson Garrett and former husband Tony. Predeceased by her parents, William and Lena Boychuk, brother Stanley and sister June.
Born in Drumheller, Alberta on December 12, 1939, Betty was a firecracker from the start.
She was a strong woman who embraced her role as wife and mother with unlimited love and care, always putting her family’s well-being above all else. Her spirit and guidance helped shape their lives, and her legacy will forever remain in their hearts.
Betty had many passions in life – cooking, dancing, horseback riding, watching baseball, movies & TV shows, making you laugh until your sides hurt, reading mystery novels, playing bingo, solving word puzzles, music (specifically Bon Jovi & Elvis), Tom Selleck, Chuck Norris, and traveling (especially Hawaii).
As we mourn the loss of Betty, we will find comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind. Her love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever serve as a guiding light.
Her wishes were for no service, as she hated funerals, and cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to Parkinson Canada.
