Emidio Carozza

He has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Nina, and their daughter Josephine.

Loving father of Tony (Adele), Franco, and son-in-law, Tony. Cherished Nonno of Gemma (Sandro), Eric, Lisa, Mark, and Bisnonno of Noah. He will be dearly missed by his sister-in-laws Filomena and Fernanda, and by all his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppina and Camillo and his brothers Domenico, Nicola and Pietro.

Emidio will be forever remembered for his strength, kindness, and for the immense love and devotion that he showered his family with. He will also be remembered for his cooking, his homemade pizzelle, and the many gallons of wine he made over the years. The stories of his life in Italy, his service in the army, his journey to Canada, and the life he built here, will be treasured and passed down through generations. He will be forever loved, remembered, and missed by all of his family and friends.

Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Thursday, August 27th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 28th at 10am at St Matthews Church, 706 Old Weston Rd (at Rogers Rd).

Please note, on the morning of the Mass, there will not be a visitation. We would ask that all friends go directly to the church to allow the family some private time at the funeral home. Please arrive early in order to locate parking on the surrounding side streets. Please read posted signs for parking. The parking lot behind the church may be open for you to park (entering off of Lavender Rd using the St Matthews School parking entrance).

Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst St (north of Finch).
