So sorry to hear of Kevin's passing, he was such a lovely man. We did not see him often but when we did he always had lots to tell us about the Cusack family. He and Carol would often visit my mom and dad (Leonard and Eileen Cusack) in the good old days. He was a very interesting man and knew so much and my family would always talk to him about the Cusack history (Ireland) that he was putting together. He will be truly missed at all the Cusack gatherings..Pls accept our Sincere Condolences.

To Kevin's children, family and friends,

Just in case you did not know, we wanted to be sure that you were aware of the extent of Kevin's contribution to the work of Family, Youth and Child Services of Muskoka over the years as a volunteer driver.

 

Kevin drove thousands of kilometres for FYCSM as a volunteer driver.  He drove babies. He drove toddlers. He drove sibling groups. He drove teens.  He drove across town and across the province.  He drove in any kind of weather that we asked him to.  He never said no to our request.  He did this because it gave him a sense of purpose in his older years and because he loved the kids. 

 

Sometimes in his role as volunteer driver he had to do more than just transport kids to and from.  He often went the extra mile to make any child feel comfortable and loved. 


Kevin quit driving for us a couple of years ago.  But he called me a couple of weeks ago saying he had to do something this winter or he would go crazy.  Could he drive for us again?  We were to meet last week to discuss getting him back driving for us. 
 

We owe a debt of gratitude to Kevin Cusack for his work as a volunteer driver for the agency and for his commitment to our work for the children and families of Muskoka. We are saddened by his tragic death and extend our heartfelt sympathy to all family members and friends.

To the Cusack Family.

I would like to express my deepest condolences on your tragic loss.  

I have many fond memories of your father and mother dating back to my high school days. Hanging around the Cusack house on Yarrow Road seemed like a second home to me at times.  Kevin and Carole were always welcoming and friendly.  I distinctly remember the Family Tree your dad had.  Proving I guess how much family meant to him.

May he rest in peace.

It was so nice to see kevin when he came down to Tracadie Cross P.E.I. for his Mother's funeral.It was about 50 some years since we saw him,we had A wonderful reminise day,and a lot of laughs,he will be missed.

He'll stay with you as long as the wind blows, he'll Always be in your hearts,.he didn't leave you all alone,he has enternal life.He's spirit is always with in you and if the Sun shines in the sky and rain should fill the air and a Rain Bow lights up your day, know that he is there.
