Esmena Onetha Brathwaite

Esmena Onetha Brathwaite, aunt and mother figure to many, passed away on July 21st 2026 after a short battle with cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully with her loved ones, sisters Audriana & Kenlyn, nephew Anthony and niece Nicole. She was surrounded by love, embraced by caring hands and the room filled with the holy spirit as God allowed her to spend her final moments with those she loved.

Known for being a caring, loving, positive person filled with wisdom, strength and a dash of good old vincy iron will, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She cared for many and loved hard, she brought joy to those around her and taught those close to her life lessons that helped shape their lives. The Richards family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in her life, the good memories you shared and even though this is a sad time she would not want to know that she burdened anyone with sadness, please remember the good Esmena brought to your lives and not the sadness of her passing. She will always survive within our minds and the path of positivity she left with those she came across in her life.
