Estoy segura que mi querido tio FELIPE YA ESTA en el paraiso porque DIOS necesita personas buenas de espirito ,de animo noble como lo era el .Sentido pesame a mi tia y primos condivido vuestro dolor .

Felipe was born in a small town named Carpitenria, in the province of San Juan, Argentina. He grew up in the mountains, helping his family with the daily work of maintaining a grape farm. As a young teenager, he moved with his parents to the skirts of San Juan city, continuing his work in the grape farm industry. Later on as a young man, he joined the regional newspaper, Diario De Cuyo, as a printing press operator, where he worked for 35 years. In the meantime he met and married his wife of almost 60 years, Catalina Herrera. 

They married the 25th of December, 1954, and had three beautiful children; Victor Hugo, Elena Beatriz and Patricia Liliana. Their children went on to marry their respective spouses; Azucena Lusa, Juan Carlos Gabaldo and Hector Rolando Nieto. Their families gave him 6 grandchildren; Eugenia Nieto, Veronica Gabaldo, Noelia Gabaldo, Alejandra Nieto, Federico Valles and Marcelo Nieto, the which, only the eldest was born in Argentina.  In the late 80's, Felipe and Catalina followed their family and moved to Canada. He had a great love for his new home, and always said that the greatest gift it gave him were his Canadian grandchildren.

In Canada, for nearly 30 years, Felipe enjoyed an early retirement, joining the Seniors Club with his wife, where they travelled all across the country. Along the way, he met many life-long friends, who became his extended family, and saw him as their adopted father and grandfather. But he never forgot his beloved Argentina; he went back home several times to visit his family and friends, and even in his home here in Canada, you would always find flags, maps, pictures and keepsakes of the Old Country. 

He is survived by his loving wife, children and their spouses, his grandchildren and countless friends, both in Canada and Argentina. He was a man of many great qualities, and everyone will remember him as a happy person who was always smiling, telling jokes and making everyone laugh.

My canadian deares´t family I´m so sorry for your lost. I will always keep in mind my best memories of such a good person as  it was Felipe..... He will always be between us....
