After a courageous battle with cancer, Fernando passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Baycrest Hospital at the age of 77. Loving and devoted husband to Maria. Beloved father to Gabriel (Gisella) and Nadia (Joe). He will be greatly missed by his 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Luca, Sofia and Adam. Family and friends will be received at DELMORO FUNERAL HOME, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. – 416-249-4499) on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 6-9 pm and on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. in ST. BERNARD DE CLAIRVAUX ROMAN CATHOLC CHURCH (On Lawrence Avenue east of Jane Street). Entombment to follow at QUEEN OF HEAVEN CATHOLIC CEMETERY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or to the Baycrest Foundation.
