Born in Sant'Onofrio, Calabria, Italy to his parents; late Maria Pezzo and late Pasquale Bonavota. Frank passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family.
Frank will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Anna, and the love of his life, his son Joseph.
Frank was a devoted father who loved his son with his entire heart. His pride in him was evident to all who knew him, and his love was unwavering. A true family man, Frank was cherished not only by his immediate family but also by a wide circle of friends and neighbours who were drawn to his kindness, humour, and generosity.
Cherished brother of Antonio (Caterina), Cathy (Tony), Vittoria (late Gino), Rosina (late Mario), late Giuseppe (Rita), late Domenico (Linda), Lina (late Vincenzo), and late Salvatore, who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Frank will be profoundly missed by his beloved wife’s family, including her parents Teresa and Paolo, and her brother Domenic (Maria).
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: watching Italy’s national soccer team play, cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs, and relaxing with a stack of Archie comic books—small comforts that brought him great happiness.
Frank’s legacy lives on in the love he shared, the memories he created, and the countless lives he touched. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
