She has been called home and is now reunited with her beloved husband Giovanni in Heaven.
Gesilda was born on June 19, 1930 in Maione, Consenza, Italy and passed away on February 16, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 92 years young.
Loving mother of the predeceased Giuseppe, Gaetano (Rosa), and Giulia.
Devoted Nonna of Gesilda Jr. (Ivano), Giovanni Jr. (Patrizia), and Daniele.
Cherished Bisnonna to Antonio, Milena, Sienna, and Sophia.
She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her family and friends.
The family would like to express their gratuity to all of the PSW’s, nurses, and doctors who showed love and cared for Gesilda throughout her life. A very special thank you to the whole care team at Villa Colombo. The Family is forever grateful for their dedication and the relationships made with Villa Colombo.
With that being said, In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Gesilda De Caro please be made to Villa Colombo (Community Day Program), Toronto Association.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-9:00pm
