It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of the late Giuseppina Aversa on June 8th 2026 at the age of 99 years old. Born August 25, 1926 to parents Domenico and Immacolata in San Flipe Siderno, Calabria, Italy.
Giuseppina is now reunited in heaven with her parents as well as her daughter Elaine.
Beloved mother to Mary (Danny Whitehead), Teresa (Stanley Grossman), Sam and Dominic (Carolyn). Beloved Nonna to Dawn (Nino), Amory (Fabio), Dana (Frankie), Rachelle, Lucas, Nicholas, Matthew, Carly, Tyler and Joseph. May she be the guardian angel to her great grandchildren Aalyia, Tegan, Nicholas, Francesco, Brady, Gia, Cristian, Zoe, Xavier and Serenity.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Giuseppina’s Caregivers Batula and Anita as well as to the staff at Hennick Humber River Hospital and Villa Colombo.
