Guido is survived by his adult children - Joseph “Dr. Joe” (Mary), Luisa, and Gerry “Gennaro” (Josie). Guido will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren – Lauren, Matthew, Michael, Christina, Marc, Daniela and Lucas. Guido was blessed with having met and enjoyed the joyous company of his great grandchildren – Emma, Katherine, Clara and Thomas. Guido leaves his memory to be cherished by his companion and life-long friend, Giuseppina “Pina” LoParo and her son Joe, who gave the utmost care, compassion, and love to him in his sunshine years.
Guido rejoins in eternal life, his parents – Giuseppe and Luisa, as well as his beloved wife Emma. Guido will always be remembered as a loving father, nonno and bisnonno, who was devoted to his family, his faith, and his community. Whether he was helping neighbours plant their gardens, or making wine and tomato sauce in the fall with his family, or dancing the night away at various social gatherings, Nonno Guido loved everyone around him deeply and showed us that every moment is precious, and life should always be lived to the fullest, especially with a glass of wine in one’s hand.
The family would like to express immense gratitude to the healthcare services and advice of Dr. Ugo Gizzi, and St. Michael’s Hospital – Cardiac Wing in providing Guido with the utmost care during his times of need.
