Harold was a loving husband, devoted family man, and a father figure to many. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Wendenelda (Princess) Talbot, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories. He is also survived by his brother; David Halfkenny, and his grandsons, Brendel & Tuyma.
Harold was predeceased by his parents, Calvin and Alma, and his beloved sisters, Erma, Florence, Grace, Kay, and Theresa, as well as his brothers, Claude, George, and Lionel.
Throughout his life, Harold had a special way of making people feel welcomed, cared for, and supported. He opened his heart and his home to many children over the years, taking them under his wing and becoming a source of love, guidance, encouragement, and stability. Though all weren't his children by birth, Harold was a father in every way that mattered. The love and kindness he gave to those around him became a lasting part of their lives and a beautiful reflection of the man he was.
Harold was a hardworking man from an early age. At just 13 years old, he began working on the Matthews farm, beginning a lifetime of dedication and perseverance. He later proudly served in the military early in his life before building a long career in the tool and dye industry.
