Heather Anne Hamilton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heather Anne Hamilton, who passed away on June 16, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on September 3,1952, in Toronto, Ontario, Heather grew up in Toronto and spent her life close to the city she proudly called home.

Heather was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her son, Mark (Alice) Hamilton, her daughter Tracy (Irving) Hamilton, their father, Don Hamilton, her brother, Dave Ellis, her nephew John (Monique) Lindsey and her cherished grandchildren, Josh and Angelica.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Earl and Anne Ellis; her brothers, Rick and Ken; and her sister, Karen.

Family was important to Heather. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones, creating many special memories. She enjoyed playing bingo, trying her luck at the casino, line dancing, and going to the Ex every summer. She also loved spending time at the trailer with her brother. Heather had a special love for all animals, especially pigs, and always held a special place in her heart for her beloved bird, Chico.

Though she is no longer with us, Heather will be remembered for her infectious laugh and big heart. The memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 13, 2026 at Giffen - Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario at 12:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm.
