In loving memory of our dear Mother Hilda Andrews (Née Rumph), who passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2019. She is predeceased by her parents, siblings, son Richard and husband Edward (Ted) Andrews. She will be loved and remembered by her son Fred, daughter Rose (Kevin), her beloved fur baby, Rudy and grand kitties Buddy Boy and Adorable Dora, her nieces Cathy, Susan, Barbara, nephews David (Caryl) and Michael, and many grand nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Our Mom was a very kind and compassionate person who loved animals and nature, and was always concerned for those less fortunate. She was proud of her Danube Swabian (German) heritage, and her youth spent in the Heim Der Donauschwaben (in Toronto ) folk dance troupe, in which she won dance awards.
Mom was a very unique lady who had many, many interests and loved to be with people and animals. She was petite, but spunky, and fun and interesting to be with. Mom radiated warmth, kindness, generosity and charm to everyone she met.
Mom passed on her strong values and love for animals and people in need unto us, and we will continue to follow her loving example, and to help make this world a kinder place for all of God's Creation.
We will always remember her kind ways, smile and be inspired by her concern for people and animals in need.
Many Thanks to the nurses, doctors of Michael Garron Hospital (formerly named, East General Hospital ), the wonderful staff of the Toronto Paramedics, especially EMS paramedic Mike, and all the caring and dedicated home care workers, as well as Mom's amazing Community Care worker, Cheryl Brown, LHIN Coordinator Rooba, and the wonderful people at Neighborhood Link (Jenny and Mike).
Many people helped us to take care of Mom. We are very grateful to everyone that helped her. She was very fond of each of you and appreciated all your help.
In loving memory of our beloved Mother, Hilda who passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2019.
"Revelation 21:4-6 KJV
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
May the Lord watch over and protect our dear Mother. God Bless and keep her always. Forever and ever. Amen.
