Ida Gaudio, born June 6, 1930, in Carolei, Calabria, Italy, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2026, at the age of 96. Ida was a devoted and hard-working woman whose steady honesty and gentle, kind-hearted nature were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ida was reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Giovanni. She will be dearly missed by her children: Anna, Domenico (Anna), Antonio (Angela), and Bruna (Steven).
A beloved Nonna, Ida’s care and warmth lived in the everyday moments she shared with her grandchildren: Tony (Leanne), Mario (Barbara), Jimmy (Michelle), Santo (Lisa), Natasha (Giancarlo), John Anthony (Stephanie), Michael (Cassandra), Anthony, and Corena.
Ida was also a proud Bisnonna to Frankie, Olivia, Bella, Juliana, Ryan, Luca, Victoria, Roman, Sabrina, and Giovanni.
Ida expressed her love most clearly through the meals she prepared and the time she devoted to caring for her family and household—quiet acts of service that spoke to a life lived with devotion, tenderness, and deep respect for those around her. She will be remembered with gratitude and enduring affection.
