The internment will follow the reception at 2:30 pm, Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road.
Ina was born in Scotland on July 20, 1926 and spent her formative years in Gourock. While fully embracing her life in Canada, Ina remained proud of her Scottish heritage.
Ina is predeceased by her parents, John and Agnes, her sisters, Jeanne (Les) Newman, Joan (Frederick) Towers, Margaret (Lawrence) Burtnik, Ruth Taylor and brothers James (Aileen) and Crawford Taylor. She is survived by her sister Morag (Fred) Kraus.
Ina easily took on the role of prayer supporter and encourager for her niece and nephews, and is fondly remembered by Gordon, John & Allistair Newman, Clifford & Frederick Towers, Roger Burtnik, Heather Krauss, Jamie Taylor, Nigel & Morgan Taylor and their families.
Professionally, Ina served as a nurse in her homeland Scotland and established a successful career with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as the Payroll Manager.
Ina was faithfully involved in the ministries of Pape Gospel Hall and enjoyed her role as a friendly visitor at Bethany Lodge over the years. She sought out opportunities to explore the world that God created and travelled often, accompanied by her sister Ruth. She loved to sing hymns and easily recited extensive passages of scripture and poetry. Her baking was renowned and she received many requests for her empire biscuits, carrot cake and tablet. Everyone was always welcome at her table.
