She was a passionate and devoted wife to Nikolaos and her children Garyfalia (Gari), Maria and Athanasios (Tommy). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Jordana, Niko and Aristaia which were her heart.
Ioanna immigrated to Canada in 1970 and reconnected with her childhood friend who became her beloved husband. Being immigrants to a country which they did not know the language was difficult although together they worked endlessly to accomplish a loving home with their children and respective family and friends.
Her zest for life and contagious smile filled a room with her magnetic personality. Her dedication to her faith to God and the church was never ending.
She is also survived by her mother, siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of her family, relatives and friends. May her memory be eternal and may she rest in peace.
