He was sadly taken at a point in his life of great happiness and contentment. He was raised in Labrador City, NL where he enjoyed a happy life with close family members and his parents Joan and Larry Wicks.
After High School he anxiously moved to Toronto, the City he loved the most and started his Secondary Education at the University of Toronto. There he stayed for 20 years until his passing. There he formed another special family of close friends and relatives.
Jacob was predeceased by his father Larry in 2025.
He has left to mourn his loving mother Joan, a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins from both the Murrin and Wicks family, and his closest and most loved Toronto friends and family specially sister Beckie, Parneet and Asna Singh, Jastinder Sing and Villabh Kumar (Vill) Vora, Sarath Thrukepurackal, Bechu Zachariah Sonie.
Rest in peace and love sweet Jacob...Until we meet again.
Cremation has been performed and burial will be at a late date.
