Jan Christen Domalaon

Jan has been battling a rare brain tumour since February 2024, going through surgery, chemotherapy, a clinical trial, and two radiation sessions. He fought and lived until the age of 28, surrounded by family by his bed. Born on January 14th, 1998, at Makati Medical Center in the Philippines. Jan filled our lives with love, laughter, and memories from the moment he came into the world.

Curious and passionate from a young age, Jan was always working on something new and inspiring those around him. Whether it's at the gym, coding a new video game, cooking up new music, or learning new mathematical/philosophical skills. His enthusiasm is felt whenever he spoke about it. He transferred this passion into every life he touched. He always saw the best in people and helped them realize that. He was considerate from a young age and always put others before himself until the end. He made an impact on every life that he encountered, and we see it in the memories that we will hold forever.

The Domalaon family wishes to thank all those who prayed, helped Jan and us in the past 2 years. Your support has meant the world to us all. Family, relatives, and friends are welcome and appreciated at the viewing and funeral.

Visitation will take place at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON, M1K2B5, CA, on May 28, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on May 29, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Saint Maria Goretti Parish, 717 Kennedy Rd, Toronto, ON, M1K 3N8, CA, on May 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
