She is survived by sisters Judy Suttie (Pete), Pat Posno (Lloyd), brother Dr. Art Hobbs (Jay Jay), daughter Lisa Harley (John), grandsons Spencer and Alexander Harley, nephews Ian Suttie (Julie), Paul Suttie (Helen), Sean Beresford, her great nephew and nieces and her great great niece.
Above all, she loved her family. She charmed everyone she met. Her passion for gardening meant she was able to name almost any flower, years before Artificial Intelligence came along. Her love of sewing, knitting and crocheting had her sharing knowledge at the Public Library knitting circles.
She graduated from the Peterborough Civic Hospital School of Nursing as an RN in 1961 and had a varied career, from SickKids to doctors' offices in Bermuda, to retiring from the Veterans' care facility at Sunnybrook.
The family will have a small, private celebration of life to share our memories and mourn our loss.
