Janorris Armogan was born to Samuel and Hazel L Arrington on April 28, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the baby of 3 siblings a sister Joyce, and two brothers Samuel and Wayne. She grew up in Detroit.
On her journey of living a free spirited life, in 1982 while taking a trip to Toronto she met the love of her life John Anthony Armogan. It was love at first sight and they were inseparable. Soon after they were married Jan relocated to Toronto, Canada where they decided to settle down. Their marriage produced 2 beautiful twin girls, Shanna Yvette Armogan and JaNae Nicole Armogan. They also gained a son-in-law Glenn Ting (Shanna’s Husband) whom they both loved and treasured dearly. And later down the line gained a beautiful and handsome Grandson, Nathan Miguel (JaNae’s Son).
Janorris really loved her family and friends. With that being said it is no surprise that she was very family oriented and she always made sure they were very much a factor, even being miles away from home. She would always make the effort to come home to Detroit to spend time with her family as much possible especially during the holidays. Janorris’ heart was filled with so much warmth and love that she left a mark wherever she was and was never forgotten for it. It was so strong that even at a law firm (Blaney McMurtry) were she worked for 36 years had she developed a work family as well as close friendships.
Janorris was definetly a beautiful, vibrant and intelligent woman. Her infectious smile would light up the room, her voice was like a melody, her laugh was infectious, and she had a manner that would make anyone comfortable and happy to be in her presence. She was very friendly and outgoing but also strict and firm. To some we can call this bossy. She had a love for movies, enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and really enjoyed going to the baseball games. As much as she loved being home enjoying her family and watching tv, she loved to travel. Whenever she travelled to the salt water beaches in the tropics, getting her in the water was like winning the lottery…you would be in shock and disbelief. She was full of love, laughter and positivity. There is not one person that she has not crossed paths with that she hasn’t impacted. God shared her with us for 64 amazing years and within that time letting her leave her mark on this earth, she will absolutley always be remembered and never be forgotten.
