

Born in Toronto on June 25, 2008, Jayden was a beloved son to Shealagh Traynor and Nicholas Dunkley. A cherished twin brother to Javon, and a loving brother to Tyrell, Tyrone, and Tion. Jayden’s presence brought joy, warmth, and a quiet strength to everyone around him.
Jayden was a kind and gentle soul whose smile could light up any room. He was a devoted son, great grandson, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend who was deeply connected to those he loved — always ready with a hug, a laugh, or a listening ear. His heart was as big as his dreams, and he lived each day with a rare sweetness and sincerity.
He had a deep love for basketball, a sport that brought out his focus, dedication, and team spirit. He also made time for the younger children who also had a love of basketball. Off the court, Jayden could often be found enjoying his favorite meals and being around his loved ones.
Jayden is survived by his loving parents Shealagh and Nicholas, his twin brother Javon, his brothers Tyrell, Tyrone, and Tion, his grandfather Henry Traynor, and his grandparents Yvonne and Norman Dunkley. Great grandmother Sheila Bracket, uncles and aunts, David and Janice Traynor, Marie and Jay Reid, Sue and Dane Foster. Great aunts and uncles and many many cousins.
Jayden is together forever with his grandmother Donna Traynor who passed away 2 years ago and his great grandfather Deacon. He will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, gentle nature, and the deep love he held for his family and friends.
Jayden’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and light. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always in the hearts of his family and friends.
A private funeral service for Jayden’s life has already taken place. The family asks that you honour Jayden by spreading kindness, cherishing your loved ones, and holding onto the joy he brought into this world.
