Jayme Castenares Alejo

A devoted husband for 51 wonderful years, he was the cherished partner and best friend of his beloved wife, Esther. He left behind his treasured children — Samedi James, Jemailyn June, and Jasther John. — together with their spouses Chris, Daniel, and Jonalyn, and his dearly loved grandchildren Jemairrel Esther, Jadan Ayelet, Raphael Lawrence, Jaslyn Chelsea and Jericho Juno, who will forever carry his love and memory in their hearts.

He was a man of unwavering strength, kindness, and generosity — a loving provider, protector, and guiding presence to his family. His life was marked by deep devotion to those he loved, and his legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched with compassion, wisdom, and care.

Though our hearts are filled with grief, we find comfort in the beautiful memories we shared and in the love that will remain with us always. The void left by his passing can never be filled, but his spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

May the good Lord grant him eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Visitation will take place at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, CA, on May 20, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on May 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 3170 St Clair Ave E, Toronto, ON M1L 1V6, CA, on May 22, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by a Committal Service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Rd, Toronto, ON M1M 1M5, CA, on May 22, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
