Jessica Piccinin (December 20, 1992 – May 10, 2017) passed away after a lengthy and courageous battle with her illness. She will be remembered for her love, passion and great strength. Jessica is succeeded by her loving parents Ed and Natalie, sister Emily, grandmother Irma, grandfather Antonio, aunt and uncle Michelle and Joe Canella and cousin Julia, aunt and uncle Maria and Leo da Rosa, uncles Armando and Tony, as well as many cousins in Italy, Portugal, Brazil and Australia (and Bella). She joins her nonno Tullio Piccinin, vavo Maria Mendonca and cousin Laura Canella. Talented artist, lover of music and travel, advocate for the poor, the sick, disadvantaged and the mentally ill, she gave countless hours of service and devotion to her community. Time cannot erase the many beautiful gifts that she has left to all of us. Our Chachi bear. She will be forever missed.
