John passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026. John was born May 31, 1956 in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia to parents Jose and Mercedes.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Margarita Mejia.

Loving father to Sandra (David), Eliana (late Alex) and Jenny.

May be the guardian angel to his grandchildren Nataly, Edison, Melany, Emily, Daisy and Ava.

He will be missed by her many friends, family, relatives, and all who knew him.

The family would like to thank all for their love and support in their time of need.

He was a devoted father, a loving husband, a cherished grandfather, and a dear friend to many. His greatest joy was his family, and he dedicated his life to providing, protecting, guiding, and loving us. His kindness, strength, wisdom, and generous heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

To his daughters, he was a source of strength and comfort. He taught us through his words, but even more through the way he lived his life—with love, dignity, perseverance, and faith. The memories we shared with him will remain in our hearts forever.

Although our hearts are broken by his absence, we are grateful for the years we were blessed to have him with us. His love will continue to live through his wife, daughters, grandchildren, family, and all those whose lives he touched.

Fue un padre dedicado, un esposo amoroso, un abuelo querido y un gran amigo para muchos. Su mayor alegría siempre fue su familia, y dedicó su vida a cuidarnos, protegernos, guiarnos y amarnos. Su bondad, fortaleza, sabiduría y gran corazón dejaron una huella en todos los que tuvimos la dicha de conocerlo.

Para sus familia, fue apoyo, refugio y fuente de fortaleza. Nos enseñó con sus palabras, pero aún más con su ejemplo, a vivir con amor, dignidad, perseverancia y fe. Los recuerdos que compartimos con él permanecerán para siempre en nuestros corazones.

Aunque su partida deja un profundo vacío, estamos agradecidos por todos los años y momentos que Dios nos permitió compartir a su lado. Su amor continuará viviendo a través de esposa, sus hijas, nietos, familiares y de todas las personas cuyas vidas tocó.
