John Gordon McGarrity

John Gordon McGarrity, (73) passed away on February 17, 2024, surrounded by family. John was predeceased by his parents, Alberta Lily and Adam Scott McGarrity. John will be dearly missed by his brother, David and cousin, Gail (Richard) and their families, as well as many cousins. Always one to enjoy making others laugh by his quick witted remarks and sense of humour, John was born and raised in Toronto and was a retiree after a long career with CIBC. The family wishes to thank the very caring staff at Mount Sinai Cancer Centre. Per John's wishes a private inurnment will take place at St. James' Cemetery in the Spring. Memorial donations may be made to Sinai Health Foundation, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice.
