He leaves behind his loving parents, Joyce and Alfred Pedde; his sisters, Jasmine (Todd) Duckworth and their daughter Ella, and Amber (Darrin) Tait and their children Jake and Kimber; and his brother, Jessiah (Katelyn) Pedde and their children Elena, Levi, and Natalie. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandmother, Doris Wentland, along with aunts, uncles and, cousins. He will be deeply missed by his close-knit group of friends, who were like family to him, as well as by his many other friends, colleagues, and his “guys” at The Gateway, where he passionately lived out a calling he had felt certain of since his early teens.
Jordan attended University of Waterloo for three years before completing his degree at Trinity Western University. He was known for his warm smile, his unforgettable bear hugs, and the joy he brought wherever he went. Jordan had a gift for creating community and making people feel welcomed and valued. His faith in God shaped the way he lived — intentionally drawing his circle wide and loving people exactly as they were. Jordan was generous – always giving his art, time and attention to people. Jordan’s board game nights were legendary. Extremely creative in many ways, he especially loved pen-and-ink crosshatching.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. He leaves a tremendous hole in the hearts and lives of his family, friends, and everyone blessed to know him.
