

He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Jacome (Suarez), and the loving father of Teresita Sarauz (Hugo), Carlos Jacome (Gloria), Hector Jacome (Martha), Luis Jacome (Yolanda), Angelita Jacome, Raul Jacome (Linda), Margarita “Maggie” Suarez (Freddy), and the late Milton Jacome (Sandra).
He was the devoted grandfather of William Sarauz (Marjorie), Elizabeth Arroba (Christian), Veronica Zambrano (Marcos), Yadira Castro (Jose), Ismael Franco (Lina), Glenda Mayorga (Alex), Christian Jacome (Yanury), David Jacome (Paola), Jose Luis Jacome, Javier Jacome, Cristina Jacome, Michelle Jacome, Stephany Coello (Freddy), Jessica Seddon (Daniel), Melissa Suarez, Matthew Suarez, Caitlyn Jacome, Jesse Jacome, and Ryan Jacome.
He will be loved, deeply missed, and forever remembered by all his family and friends.
Viewing
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home at 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin St.) on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 3:00 - 8:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE: The COVID-19 restrictions currently in place limit the number of people that can be in the visitation room or the chapel in the funeral home. When you arrive, you may need to wait in line socially distanced or in your cars until space becomes available.
Funeral Mass
A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, at 11:00am at St. Clare Roman Catholic Church located at 1118 St. Clair Ave. W.
PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church (as it will only be the immediate family at the funeral home), arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the service. Please enter the church on the west side located off Westmount Ave., using the ramp entrance. As you arrive, you will be asked to provide your name and phone number. Due to the restrictions limiting the number of people in the church, once the capacity has been reached no one else will be able to come in.
Livestream
For family and friends that are not able to attend the Mass in person, the Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at the church for you to view (it will also be available for a few months on the website; no password is required).
Donations
If desired, donations in memory of Jose may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
