Jose Fernando Miranda

Jose was born on July 6, 1967, in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, a place that was always a part of who he was. He was a simple, humble man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life — especially good food, good company, and being surrounded by the people he cared about.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved children, Melissa (Johnny), Matthew, and Nicholas (Noelle), and forever cherished by his grandchildren, Jakson, Emma, and Jayden. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters.

Jose will also be lovingly remembered by his godmother, Fatima Faria (Augusto) their daughters Kelly and Melanie, and her brother Antonio; his dear friends Paula, Cristina, and her brother Pedro; and his many friends, family members, and cousins who shared a special connection with him throughout his life.

Those who knew Jose will remember him for his quiet and simple ways, his love of food, and the little things that brought him happiness. He did not need much to be content. His life was simple, but the love he gave and the memories he leaves behind are anything but.

Though he is no longer with us, Jose will remain forever in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the meals enjoyed together, and the many simple moments that will now mean even more.

May he rest peacefully, and may his memory always be a blessing.
