Joseph was a devoted son. He is survived by his loving mother, Sharon Sparrow, whose unwavering love, guidance, and support shaped the man he became. She was endlessly proud of her son, and his loss leaves an immeasurable void in her heart.
Joseph is also survived by his girlfriend of four years, Andrea McKay. Their relationship was built on love, friendship, trust, and a shared vision for the future. Their love was genuine and full of hope.
Joseph was a talented finishing carpenter specializing in windows and doors. He took immense pride in his craft and was known for his dedication, precision, and strong work ethic. Joseph lived life with energy and passion. Fitness was an important part of who he was, and he found joy in challenging himself at the gym and encouraging others to as well. He loved being outdoors, whether exploring nature or simply enjoying the fresh air. One of his greatest passions was riding his fixed-gear bike, where he found a sense of freedom that reflected his adventurous spirit.
Joseph was outgoing, free-spirited, and had an incredible ability to make others feel welcome. His kind smile, big heart, and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved deeply, laughed often, and embraced life with an open heart.
Among the greatest joys in Joseph's life were his beloved cats, Oli and Jax. They were more than pets—they were family. He adored them, and they were constant companions who brought him happiness, and unconditional love.
Joseph will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, generosity, adventurous spirit, and the way he made people feel seen and valued. His memory will live on through the lives he touched, the many friendships he cherished, the work of his hands, and the countless moments of laughter and love he shared with those around him.
His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON, M4C1L3, CA, on June 29, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
