MOSES, Joseph Stanley ~ WWII Veteran. Peacefully at North York General Hospital on Wednesday, January 07, 2009. Stan, in his 90th year, beloved husband of Doris (nee Dunsworth) for 65 wonderful years. Devoted and loving father to Susan Pestell (the late Gary), Jane Bellamy (Mike), and Pat Schneider (John). Cherished Puppy to Nicole Hamley (Mark), Janet, Gillian, Erin, Emma, and Michael. Proud Great-Puppy to Charlotte. Also survived by sister Grace Clancey; predeceased by brothers Ernest, Aylmer, Jack, and George. The family remembers with love and pride a wonderful hard-working man. His family was his life. Many thanks to the staff of 4 North at North York General Hospital. Friends will be received at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) on Friday from 2–4 and 6-8 pm. A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 10 am.
