Ontario on Friday, August 1, 1919 to proud parents Donald D'Alton
McDonald and Mary Harriet Louise Malberg. Arriving two weeks
early; weighing in at just over 8lbs, and entering the world
"FEET FIRST" ...she is unique!! In all the world there has never been
another person like Joy - she has loved and been loved. As a friend,
a daughter, a sister, a step-sister, an auntie, and a cousin she has
enriched our lives through her generosity her wisdom, her compassion,
her sense of humour, and her "sense of style". She has held many of
us close to her on her knee, and cradled us close to her heart. We are
privileged and blessed to celebrate Joy Heather McDonald. Friends
may gather at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto
(1 block east of Dufferin St.) on Thursday February 19, 2015 from
5pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at the Jerrett Funeral
Home Chapel on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11am with interment
at Mount Pleasant Cemetery 375 Mount Pleasant Rd., Toronto
immediately following. Donations to the C.N.I.B. in lieu of flowers would
be greatly appreciated by the family.
