Joyce was born July 16, 1922 in Toronto to Ruby and Joseph.
She was predeceased by her spouses Albert Carter and Howard Dailey.
At the age of 6, Joyce and family moved to Montreal, Quebec. In 1943, she enlisted in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps, stationed in London, Ontario.
After the war, she returned to Toronto to start her family.
Joyce was a loving and devoted mother to Joseph (Carol), Philip
( Anda), Albert (Julie) and a loving grandmother to Lara, Matthew, Eric, Paul, Jennifer, and Alison. Great grandmother to Vincent, Natalie, and Jack. Family meant everything to Joyce.
Midlife Joyce learned to drive and volunteered her time to Meals on Wheels. She helped others whenever she could.
Joyce enjoyed baking, painting, gardening and being outdoors, especially in her lovely rose garden. At Sunnybrook she joined in art, music and ceramic activities.
The family gives thanks for the wonderful care she received at Sunnybrook Veterans Residence.
