DALRYMPLE, Judith Eleanor – Judi passed away peacefully in the morning of Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Toronto Western Hospital as a result of complications from cancer which she had bravely fought for the past few years.
Judi, the only daughter and youngest child of William & Eleanor Dalrymple, was born in 1948 in Vancouver, B.C. and lived the life of an army brat moving with her parents and two older brothers to Whitehorse, Winnipeg, London, Ont., and finally Victoria, BC where her parents retired. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Judi moved back east to Toronto where she taught high school for several years before moving into sales positions at Xerox and then with the Financial Post. Later in life, she returned to teaching at Cedarbrae Collegiate.
Judi loved her life in mid-town Toronto from her young and single days at the Bay Street Racquet Club to the wonderful days of tennis & bridge at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club.
Judi is survived by her loving son, Richard Murray, her oldest brother Desmond and his wife Catherine and her sister-in-law Barbara as well as her niece Libby and nephews Scott & Brian and their families.
At her request, cremation has already taken place.
