Karina was called home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2016 while in her mother’s arms at the age of seven. She leaves behind her loving mother Cheryl, older sisters Ashley and Kalisha, puppy Roxy, father figure Sean, maternal grandparents Jeri-Lyn and John, paternal grandmother Janice, aunties, uncles, cousins, and her Urban Promise family. Although Karina struggled with Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and a neurodegenerative disease, she was a strong, happy, beautiful girl who loved to laugh. With her courage, she led us to believe that each day is a blessing. We will miss her beautiful smile and charming laugh. With Karina’s passing, we remind others that all life is to be celebrated. Friends may call the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 660 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Scarborough Baptist Church, 1597 Kingston Road, Scarborough on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2 pm. Donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children. In honour of Karina, we ask that you please wear something white to symbolize the purity and innocence of God’s child.
