Karl is predeceased by his parents James and Diane Hendry and both of his brothers James Hendry Jr. and Dave Drennan. Karl is survived by his siblings Tom Hendry, Kurt Hendry, John Hendry, his sisters Deborah Moris and Liz Bigalow and his sons Karl Vanalstyne and Kevin Vanalstyne.
Karl is known for his love of hockey and Toronto Maple leafs. he will be missed by his friends and family.
A visitation for Karl will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A graveside service will occur Monday, November 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Thornton Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres, 1200 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa, ON L1J 0C9.
