Tears still swell every time I think of my dear brother Ken and all the love and laughter he shared with so many, but especially with those in need.  
Never to be forgotten by so many.

Hey Ken....I am sorry to have found out about your passing.  it's chris low from your ryerson early childhood education programme days.  i miss you.  i still remember we did some project together to get us through that programme.  good memories Ken.  good memories

After two years, people still acknowledge the passing of my wonderful brother Ken Moses - a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  They say, it gets easier as time passes and in some regard this is true; we still have all the precious memories to remember him by.  
He would have been so proud, when his former students, now singers, gave him a Native ceremonial farewell. Our family thanks you for your generous kindness. 
Rest In Peace  my dear brother - we miss you.

One year today, he is no longer with us.  Think about him and all the love and goodness he brought into our lives. 
But now he rests in heaven with our Dear Lord, and oh boy, did he ever deserve a good rest....

I just learned today of Kens' and I am obviously shocked and saddened. Ken and I met in high school and became fast friends. We played on the basketball team, travelling to tournaments around the province in his fathers' red VW bug. Good times and lots of laughs. We later moved into together into a small rooming house at Avenue Rd. and St Clair where the fun continued.
Eventually we both started a family and although we remained friends for a number of years, we gradually drifted apart and had not been in touch with each other for a while.
That being said, I know I thought of him regularly and that I should try to get ahold of him, but you know that goes.
Sweet dreams big guy.

Working with Ken in the classroom, there was always something new to learn, and diverse ways of seeing the world. Thankful for his example to try to "be cooler" in life - more kind, more patient, more caring.  We'd end the day singing the theme song from the Littlest Hobo "Maybe Tomorrow."  Just keep moving on Ken, no lollygagging.

What a guy! My deepest condolences to the family for their tremendous loss. Ken was a superior human being who always showed up full of zest and joy for the students he taught. I worked with Ken at First Nations School of Toronto and was always in awe of his teaching style, teaching with humour and compassion. He had high expectations of himself to be a bright light in his students’ lives. I aspire to learn from his wisdom on “How to Show Up” for others.  His selflessness and warmth will live on through all the people he touched. 

People like you with your charm and grace don't always come along.  I had the pleasure to work alongside you. You are deeply missed by all who loved and respected you greatly. I hope and pray you are in glorious peace my dear friend.  You and your family are in my thoughts and  prayers 🙏  

My condolence to Ken’s children, grandchildren and other loved ones.  Ken was a friend and coworker who was a kind,  loving and generous individual.  He will be remembered for his love of family, Maple Leaf Hockey, a good tooth pick, practical jokes and  music. Our hearts are broken but we give God thanks for Ken’s life and legacy .

Ken was a staple of the group around Maurice Cody. Always laughing and carrying on. Also one of the best Codyball players on earth.

RIP Ken

Ken was a beautiful person full of zest and character.  He had a presence always and you knew when he was in the room. (You had to because he was always planning a prank and most of us at work had fallen victim).  I always admired his devotion as a father and to his students as a teacher, as well as a youth worker at Covenant House.  You were there for me during a difficult time in my life with beers and gift cards...what meant the most to me was your hug and telling me you loved me.  I will never forget that. I did look to you to as a father figure and I'm sure I wasn't the only young person who felt that way.  Rest in paradise and say hi to Georgia.  BTW if the leafs ever win the Stanley Cup I know you probably swindled and bamboozled the hockey gods.

I met Ken when he taught my daughter at First Nations PS in the late '90's. She has fond memories of him and still considers him the best teacher she ever had. When she missed school with a broken collar bone he visited our home with a huge card her classmates had made and a VHS tape of Dr. Dolittle. He had a sincere way with the youngsters that would flock to him in class. He made class exciting for them. This is a picture of the staff and board members of First Nations PS and Gizhadagamik Daycare and was taken around 2000. My family sends condolences to all who knew and loved Ken. Rest in peace. 

My darling brother gave all he had to his family and those in need.  His happiest times was in giving to others. “Freedom 85” was when he felt he could retire. The family always hoped he was kidding and he could retire earlier than that! 
I know, our dear Lord is looking after him, and he is enjoying his new wings with all the other angels in heaven.  Finally, he has retired.....

I worked with Ken for many years at Covenant House.  He was one of the most generous, caring and kind humans I have ever met.  Ken would give you the shirt off of his back if it was his last one and he would do it with a smile.  He deeply cared for the Youth he worked with both at Cov and as a teacher and he had the biggest smile when he spoke of them.  Ken was extremely devoted to his family and spoke proudly of them often. His sense of humour was incredible and no one could pull a practical joke like him, he was the master...

I will miss Ken....the world was a better place with him in it and it won't be the same without him...

I met Ken through my work at Covenant House in the early 2000's. I can't recall the very first time we met but I know without a doubt that it started with laughter. The Ken that I will keep in my memories is a super kind, tremendously caring, amazingly thoughtful man with a "wicked" sense of humor. I was always delighted at work knowing that Ken was on shift and my greatest delight was being partnered with him. 

Ken's unconditional love for people was remarkable and it was evident in the way he engaged and cared for the young people at Covenant House. If you knew Ken, then you would know that his family meant the world to him and you would also know all their names. Ken was proud of his Indigenous heritage. He was a teacher in an Indigenous school and he spoke with pride and love about his students. I can only imagine how much his students loved his teachings.

My dear friend, I know that as much you made life easier for many, you did not always have it easy. Your memory will live on in my heart and ring out in my laughter. May you rest peacefully from all your labor (meet you at the wall of declaration).
