What a shock and disappointment to learn of Kevin's premature departure from us. My most sincere condolences to his family during these difficult times, and also to his "work family", Paran & Croft.

I always had the utmost respect for Kevin since first meeting him as a young man, and handing over the key to our home without hesitation to Kevin was no small measure of trust or confidence. It was, however, obvious to those who knew him that his word amounted to a promise and his integrity was uncompromising. He possessed some all too rare traits that are most desirable in relationships, be they work or personal;
I knew that I could take him at his word and that he would always be straightforward with me, even when we disagreed.

As others have already mentioned, it's true that his presence could be imposing... but his cordial manner and trademark laugh quickly disarmed any unease his substantial size and / or facial hair may have caused.

The lane we reside on has its share of parking related drama, and on one visit Kevin had (briefly) parked illegally while we had a short meeting. He always asked "will I be ok here?" to which I would reply "of course, if it's only for a few minutes." Having received a parking ticket myself elsewhere that day, I suddenly had the idea to hide my bright yellow ticket under his windshield wiper when he wasn't looking . I'll never forget his shock at seeing a parking ticket on his white van after only being inside about two minutes; he muttered something about "the cost of doing business" before realizing upon inspection that the ticket was actually mine. His laughter was ample reward for the prank.

You will be missed Kevin, not only as our most reliable and trusted contractor (and sage advice-giver when I tackled projects myself) but also as a friend. Your legacy lives on not only in the many memories of our interactions, but indeed in the beautiful home we reside in that you helped us build.

Rest in peace.

It was only today that we heard the very sad news of Kevin's passing. Our relationship was professional as he completed renovations for us at our condo on Queen's Quay almost twenty years ago. That said, Kevin's expertise, professionalism, integrity and commitment to excellence instilled confidence and trust that has remained with us to this day. Kevin will be remembered as being a man of character and, in our opinion, a higher accolade could not be bestowed. We were fortunate to have known him and he will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to Kevin's family and friends.

We were so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing... He left us far too soon! We hadn't seen him and Debbie in quite some time, as we have been living in Alberta for many years now and don't make it back to Ontario as often as we wish we could (especially now). Family parties will never be the same without Kevin's great laugh and positive energy. He was such a lovely man, and the world is poorer for the loss of him. Thankfully he will always live on in our hearts and memories.

Rest in peace, Kevin... or rather Ride on...

My sincere condolences to Kevin's entire family. His family and mine have been one and the same for my whole life and he will be missed dearly. Although I didn't see Kevin often, he was the kind of person I'm sure I could call out of the blue if I needed anything and he would be there. A gentle giant if there ever was one.

Debbie, we are not far away so please call any time if there is anything you need.

Kevin and Deb always made a point of attending Greg's gigs in Toronto. We would meet at the Lakeside diner before for a bite - although never quite got our timings down! I will always appreciate how sweet Kevin was to me and to his family. He was a calming and solid presence. Just a beautiful person all around. Kevin will be missed by so many. A testament to the person he was.
