I will always remember Lawrence as a loving caring man with a huge heart of gold. I will always love him forever for who he was and his charming ways. Lawrence may you rest in peace with god and the angels. I will see you again one day. You will always be in my heart and mind.I will never forget you.

Once I called you brother. I will always remember you by your grin and your great sense of humour.  You have a wonderful sister in Julie so you know you will always be remembered. My heart to Terry, Ann, Julie and everyone who loved you.

Remember, Lord, your compassion and love, for they are everlasting.
Lord, hvave mercy.

Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions, but think on me in your goodness, O Lord, according to your steadfast love.

The Dragon Fly

Once, in a little pond, in the muddy water under the lily pads there live a little water beetle in a community of water beetles.
They lived a simple and comfortable life in the pond with few disturbances and interruptions.

Once in awhile, sadness would come to the community when one of the fellow beetles would climb the stem of a lily pad and would never be seen again.  They new when this happened; their frind was gone forever.

Then, one day, one little water beetle felt an irresistable urge to climb up that stem. However, he was determined that he would not leave forever.  He would come back and tell his friends what he had found at the top.

When he reached the top and climbed out of the water onto the surface of the lily pad, he was so tired, and the sun felt so warm that he decided he must take a nap. As he slept, his body changed and when he woke up, he had turned into a beautiful blue-tailed Dragon-Fly with broad wings and a slender body designed for flying.

So, fly he did! And, as he soared he saw the beauty of a whole new world and a far superior way of life to he had never known existed.

Then he remembered his beetle frinds and how they were thinking, by now he was dead.  He wanted to go back and tell them, and explain to them that he was now more alive than he had ever been before. His life had been fulfilled rather than ended.

But his new body would not go into the water. He could not get back to tell his friends the good news. Then he understood that their time would come when they too would know what he now knew. So be raised his wings and flew off into his joyous new life.

Dearest Lawrence, today we celebrated the times you shared with us in your earthly life. You will always be with us, like the wind we know it is there, we can't see it but we can feel it. We will always feel your precense Lawrence. We have good memories that can never be taken away, memories Lawrence that you made for us. For that we are eternally greatful. And now in your Spiritual Life, life itself has become eternal.

Today was such a beautiful tribute to my little brother. Thank you to all of our family for your support and kind words today. I know Lawrence was there today,smiling,lighting up the room as he always did with that beautiful smile. I love you all so much and thank you all for being there today.

I woke this morning with tears in my eyes for the heart felt pain that I am feeling for Lawrence.  Lawrence we know you are no longer in pain and suffering, but the void we are all feeling right now is heart breaking.   We will always love you and will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Julie, Joshua, Della & Terry -  We are deeply saddened by your loss.  Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

 it's so true…. we all have a limited time here on earth.....

….In many ways our lives are also determined by the choices we make…one young man driving decides to overtake a car .. but an oncoming car is there, sadly, the result is tragic and inevitable…

 …..Another young man makes a few wrong choices and decisions and, although it takes a decade or so, the end result is also just as tragic and inevitable…..

Life is way too short….live for today…be kind to one another…..be patient with your loved ones and, most of all, be understanding….
