Leo Brideau

Leo is survived by his sister Danella Brideau, niece Bianca Brideau, Joan Brideau and Annabella Williams, nephews Marcel and Randy Brideau, great nieces Zareena and Quintavia Brideau and Leo is predeceased by his mom Joan Violet Brideau, Leo is also remembered by many friends, Staff, Doctors, Nurses, and Community members. Our family will always love and hold Leo in our hearts forever.

Leo was born at Wellesley Hospital on June 3 1977 in Toronto Ontario. Leo was a very special boy who was born with Downs Syndrome. He had the most beautiful smile and the most beautiful blue eyes a person could ever have. He attended school from the age of 3 months and continued until the age of 31 when he graduated at St Mary's School in East York. Later Leo attended a Day program for people with Intellectual and Physical Disabilities. First he attended ERA for many years followed by Pegasus up until 2021.

Leo was very happy, never sad, he had the greatest laugh, the biggest smile, the biggest hugs, polite, well mannered and sometimes he had a naughty and mischievous side to him that we loved so much as he was the heart of our family. Leo loved diet coke, wrestling, swimming, Variety Village, cooking, basketball, dancing, but most of all he loved his Day Program Pegasus and his family. Leo also loved food and his favorite restaurants were Red Lobster and Mandarin which he always looked forward to on his Birthday and his families Birthday celebrations.

Leo was a beautiful person inside and out. He lit up a room with his smile, his laugh, his beautiful eyes and his sense of humor. Leo loved and cared deeply for his family and everyone around him and never wanted to see anyone cry or hurt, he would always try to make you laugh or wipe your tears away. Our family has been shattered and devastated by his loss and will always remember him and love him. We love you Leo now and forever. Until we meet again. Our angel Rest in Peace

A visitation for Leo will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa, ON L1J 0C9.
