So sorry to hear this news, something about your Mom, she always had a smile on her face, so much energy, and was fun to be around.  We worked together at Foresters.

To all of Linda’s loved ones, friends and family, let us begin with a illustrative anecdote:

Just after New Year’s 2024, Linda attended our house party and we believe this was one of Linda’s last joyous times: she tried a dirty martini for the first time, fell asleep in Derrick’s bed then got up and rejoined the party with infectious and unbridled joy.  For all intents and purposes,  Linda was an integral part of the success of our party: the belle of the ball so to speak.  In addition, even after a very late night, Linda tidied up our place in the morning by neatly arranging all the bottles and cans (collecting the tabs of pop cans for charity) in the kitchen to assist us and make our lives easier for that was the kind of person she was: thoughtful, caring and always thinking of others.  These are but a few of the many gestures and actions that reinforce and confirm her decency and humanity. 

Moreover, Linda’s benevolence and compassion for animals knew no bounds, whether it was nursing an injured pigeon she found on the street back to health or cat sitting whenever we went away. Linda loved all animals and they loved her in return.

These quotations perfectly embody Linda in spirit and act:  Linda is a protected and honoured spirit who will always remain with us. 

The world lost not only an amazing person but, more importantly, an amazing human being. The world is far poorer for Linda’s absence. The world was a better place with Linda’s presence in it.  We mourn her untimely passing. She was and will always be our “foxy” lady.  R.I.P. Linda.

You are in my thoughts and prayers and so sorry I cannot be there. 

We were best friends for 67 years.  One of our memories was skating 
down the lake holding a tarp and the wind pushing us to the other end.  Playing outside till it got dark and you could hear the wolves 
howl.   Our childhood was  very unforgettable and we would do it all 
over again if we had the chance.   No roads, no phones, no hydro.
Lots of water and bush.

Linda's Dad was the best pilot in Canada and we all loved to fly with 
him.

Linda was a special friend...I wouldn't see her for awhile, but when I did we'd pick right back up where we left off! She was a caring, kind soul and was loved by those who were privileged to have known her. Her love of her family, friends and animals and her amazing sense of humour are something I'll always remember about her! I can still hear her laugh.. It was infectious! I'll miss you my sweet friend...love you lots!Thank you for your friendship...until we meet again! RIP dear soul!! 🤎🙏🏻🕊 
My deepest heartfelt Condolences!!

My deepest condolences 🙏 to Ashley and all of Linda's family.  I worked with Linda for many years at the Ministry of Natural Resources.   She was such a fun person to be around.   We have kept in touch since the early 90's!   My heart breaks 💔 😢.   This news of her passing was terrible shock.  May she rest in peace.

My wife and I are so sad on hearing of the passing of Linda. Linda was such a lovely kind person. We met Linda through us walking our little dog Brodie and Linda walking Lincoln. Since that time Linda would often visit us and we would have such good chats and so many laughs. My wife and I will miss Linda so very much. RIP my friend.

I'm already missing you.  After I left MLG, I was glad we found each on Facebook.  You made me laugh when we worked together and you made me laugh online.  

Rest In Peace, Rest in Power.

Grandma, you were there for all of my milestones and always so excited to be a part of my life. You always expressed how proud of me you were along with always checking in to see how I was doing. You are selfless, supportive, non-judgemental and always there to lend a helping hand. There’s so much I can say but I’ll leave it at this - I was extremely blessed to have you as my grandmother and I will never ever forget the unconditional love you made me feel. Your memory will live on forever, and I promise you that.
