Her face light when she told the story of how her husband proposed at a skating event. She will be missed by all. I hope your many good memories help you through this time of sorrow.

I am so lucky to have known Lucy. She was one of the kindest, most gracious and uplifting people I've ever known. I think she brilliantly hacked the secret to a happy life early on and spent her remaining years on this earth teaching it to the rest of us: Love the people around you. Like, always. Just shine love like a beacon on everyone you meet. Watch that love cascade across the world. And take pleasure in seeing it grow and transform the people it touches. See them ease into peace. Their hearts growing bigger. Their faces lighting up with joy. I'm forever grateful to Lucy for showing me this secret. For meeting me at her front door with the biggest smiles and the warmest hugs. For sharing her ideas. Her curiosity. Her compassion. Her thoughtfulness. Her mischievous humour. Her sparkling eyes. Her unyielding positivity and strength in the face of all obstacles. Her unending love for her family and friends. It’s hard, now she’s not here. But we continue to have her love. It’s forever rippling its way around the world. Skipping and jumping and laughing out loud. And it touches us, still.

I worked with Lucy for many years at Harlequin. Her smile always lit up my office when she'd walked in. A lovely lady. My condolences to her family.

Words cannot begin to express how sorry we are for your loss Tony, Grazia, and Antonio. Lucy will forever be remembered as being the kindest, most loving person, wife, and mom to Grazia and Antonio.  

She always showed up for her family and for those around her. I remember one time I was over to visit Grazia and she made the kind gesture to cook my favourite pasta for dinner. Lucy also always gave me the warmest smile and comforting hug no matter how difficult her day was.

She was also always supportive of people’s dreams. Knowing mine, she said the kindest words someone could ever say to me—ones which I have never forgotten. 

Through these memories and heartwarming characteristics, she will forever be remembered as a selfless person who would always lighten up someone’s day and spread kindness no matter what. 

She will truly be missed.
