Lyubov was predeceased by her beloved mother Alla Bass, and is survived by her father, Ilya, and her cherished sister, Maria, of California. She held them close in both heart and spirit throughout her life.
As a young girl, Lyubov found joy in dancing—often losing herself in music, movement, and the freedom it brought. That love of self-expression stayed with her always, reflected in the thoughtful, light-hearted way she moved through the world.
In her later years, Lyubov had a unique approach to what she fondly called “minimal retail therapy,” often treating herself not with extravagance, but with small comforts—extra food, simple toiletries, and little things she could use not only for herself, but to give to others. She had a deep and unwavering belief in paying it forward. Whether it was a warm meal, a thoughtful gesture, or an anonymous gift, she found purpose and fulfillment in giving for the greater good.
Her life was a quiet but powerful example of kindness, simplicity, and grace. Those who knew her will remember her gentle presence, her sense of humor, and her deeply generous heart.
At Lyubov’s request, there will be no formal service. In her memory, her family encourages acts of kindness in your own community—give a little more, share a little more, and continue the good she put into the world.
She danced through life in her own beautiful rhythm, and though she may be gone, her spirit will echo on in every act of kindness done in her name.
