Madeleine Marie Visentin - Woodcock

Predeceased by her parents Ovila and Adrienne Daoust, husbands Peter John Woodcock (2022) and Lino Raimondo Visentin (1999), she will be greatly missed by her children Carl (spouse Belinda) and Mark (spouse Irene), step-children Jennifer and Andrew, and her 16 grand/step-grandchildren: Marco (spouse Victoria), Serena (partner Michael), Aaron, Andre, Nikki (spouse Jayden), Khaylen, Samantha, Chloe, Leila, Max (partner Sophia), Ripley, Jack, Kira, Sally, Nikolas, Katie, and great-grandchild Melina. She was also a loving sister to her 14 siblings: Yvonne (spouse Andy), Yvette (the late Milton), Agnes (the late Clayton), John (the late Lillian), Paul (spouse Sue), Theresa and predeceased brothers Maurice, Michael, Peter, Roger, and sisters Simmone, Juliette, Lucille and Marielle.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grand & great grandmother, she will be fondly remembered for her outgoing and friendly personality, her love of Elvis, traveling, bowling, bingo, her dedication to family and events (especially the “Daoust Picnic”), charitable work, along with her discipline, determination, her inability to keep secrets, and veritable super-human hearing.

Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough ON on Friday July 24th, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 PM. Light snacks and drinks will be served.

A service will be held from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM at the same location on Saturday, July 25th, followed by internment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at 2700 Kingston Road, Scarborough. Upon return from Resthaven Memorial Gardens, a lunch reception and gathering will follow at the Jerrett Funeral Home. All are welcome.
