Margaret Millar

Margaret was predeceased by her parents John and Jane Millar, her brother John (Ian), her sister and brother-in-law Anne and Lionel Seguin and her niece Laurel Milson.

She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Catherine (Scott) , Laurel’s husband Greg, and her nieces and nephews Dawn (Nick) Nicole (Shawn) Michael and Brian (Angela). She has two great nieces Lily and Brooklyn whom she loved to hear about.

Margaret had a long working career at Hamilton Gear and Machine Company where she worked in the engineering department. She loved to travel and visited many countries throughout her life.

Her faith was very important to her and she was a long time elder at Wychwood Davenport Presbyterian Church. She was involved in all aspects of the church including running the bazaars and arranging bus trips throughout Ontario.

We would to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Bracondale House whose outstanding care allowed Margaret to live in her own apartment where she was most comfortable.

Special thanks to Mark for his weekly visits which brightened her days.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and internment will be held at a later date at Prospect Cemetary.
