Peacefully on July 9, 2026 at the age of 91, Maria was called to God in Heaven. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Bartolomeo. Proud Mother of Saverio "Sal" (Daniela nee Gentile), Cathy (Ron Evangelisti), and Angela (Rick Scasserra). Maria will be the guardian angel to her grandchildren Bianca, Eva, Selena, and Isabella. Maria is now reunited in heaven with her parents and sisters. She will be held dear in the hearts of her many relatives and friends.
The family sincerely thanks the exceptional healthcare professionals and caregivers for the kindness, compassion, and support they provided throughout her care.
Friends and relatives will be received at DELMORO FUNERAL HOME, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. 416-249-4499) on Monday, July 13th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 13, 2026 at ST. PHILIP NERI CHURCH (2100 Jane St., south of Wilson Ave.). The Committal Prayer and Entombment will be held following the Mass at GLENDALE MEMORIAL GARDENS (Mausoleum of the Last Supper).
