Maria was born on May 16, 1940, in Boiano, Campobasso, Molise, Italy. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 68 years, Felice, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, memories, and family.
Loving mother of Michele (Tina), Franco, and Dolores. Cherished Nonna of Alyssa (Aaron), Felicia, Deanna, Laura (Daniel), Amanda, and Aiden, and treasured Bisnonna of Cayden and Lucas.
Maria was known for her passion for sewing and her incredible creativity. Her granddaughters were especially fortunate to grow up surrounded by her love and talent, often being spoiled with authentic, one-of-a-kind clothing and costumes lovingly made by their Nonna. Each piece was a reflection of her dedication, creativity, and love for her family.
She will also be remembered for her love of singing and dancing, bringing joy, laughter, and warmth to those around her. Her vibrant spirit and loving heart touched not only her family in Canada, but also her many family members and friends in Italy, who will miss her dearly.
Maria leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, family, creativity, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
