Tarantino, Maria Gaetana passed peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on August 6, 2014 in her 91st year. Survived by her loving husband Rocco and brothers: Raffaele (Teodora), Rocco (Saveria), and Gerardo (Giovanna). Pre-deceased by her brother Vito Antonio.
She will be remembered with love by her many Nephews and Nieces and Great-Nephews and Great-Nieces.
Friends may gather at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin Street) on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6pm to 9pm and on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10am. Interment at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
