Mark was always a pleasure to see and always made good of the bad. Mark was always optimistic and positive. Mark was one of the good guys. Everyone loved and enjoyed working with Mark. He will always be remembered as a humble and caring individual who always cared for his fellow workers. You will be missed my friend. Rest Mark. God bless you and your family.

Mark otherwise known as uncle Markie was a kind and loving man. I remember he would take my cousins, siblings and I to the park and on the way back to my grandparents house he would stop at bulk barn and get us loads and loads of candy for us without our parents knowing. Markie I love you to the moon and back, I will never forget all of the amazing moments we have. I love you!RIP rest easy.❤️

There are no words to express my sadness over Mark's passing. Aunt Bev, and to Lauren, Dale and all your children and family, please know I am thinking of you all at this sad time.

We were lucky as kids that our parents were close so we were able to share many family occasions together. I will always remember Mark as such a quiet guy with such a kind and loving soul. He was a big Teddy Bear!!!!

Watching the Memorial video, I saw the picture of him with the rose in his mouth and the fur hat on his head that was Chris'. That was when my dad died and we all got together afterwards. That was such a great night - lots of laughs, a few drinks and tears, and sharing our family love. It's times like this that remind us of the importance of family and that we need to get together more often.....

Craig and I wish we could be with you all these next few days. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sending lots of love and hugs from our family to yours.

Mark, you were one of my 1st friends when I started at Toronto Housing. You were one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. Always a smile and a positive word, even when everything else seemed so down. Thank you for taking me under your wing and letting me have the privilege of knowing you. You will never be forgotten.

Mark, I’m so glad I got to meet you. From the little time I got to know you, you were such a kind, genuine, compassionate person. You were obviously loved so whole-heartily by many and your absence will leave a deep scar. Sending my love and thoughts to family in Toronto. We will forever treasure your police badge collection you travelled to such measures to obtain and send to us in NZ. These carry your memory and we will forever display them with pride and your story. Love Emma and Matt

It has been a few years since I last saw Mark. Remembered as always being jovial, he loved to be a part and have a laugh with the gang, proud of his family and friends. Never needing to be the center of attention but was ALWAYS at your side when the chips were down! Definitely one of the good guys.
Rest in Peace.
