She was born on March 24, 1966 in Etobicoke to Caroline Lee Arima (nee Strahm) and Richard Kazuo Arima who have both predeceased her.
Martha had a passion for gastronomy and was a chef for many years before becoming a Culinary Arts teacher. She loved to kayak, travel and express her creativity through cooking, baking and many craft activities.
Friends and family will remember her as a generous, kind and courageous woman who was welcoming and compassionate to those whose lives she touched and committed to her loved ones.
She is survived by her brother Phlip Arima, sister Jennifer Arima, nephew Quinlan Arima-Shaw, niece Brenna Arima-Shaw and many others who loved her dearly.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
