Walt, Nora and Peter,
I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing.  The last time I saw her was at a suprise 80th birthday party for my Mother.  I am glad I have that memory of her.  It was a great day, where the "cottage girls" got together again!
I have fond memories of when the Macnees and Crosbys would get together, so many years ago.  I hope you are all well.
I am sorry I didn't hear of your Mother's passing sooner.  Unfortunately, my Mother did not remember to pass the news along due to her dementia.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Walt, Nora and Pete,
It was with deep sadness that I just learned today of your Mom's passing when I was visiting my mom.  Your Mom and Dad were so much a part of my Mom and Dad's and our family's life.  They were a big part of why my parent's moved to Toronto in the first place.    Between the bridge club, vacations, dinner at each other's houses their friendship was long and deep.
          I am so grateful that I had the chance to continue to have your mom as part of my life as she was a client of mine for many years back in the 90's.   I have always held your mom in high regard and know that she was one of my Mom's closest friends .  Unfortunately, with my mom's own dementia it was too difficult  to keep up with everyone the last few years.  
     My mother, my husband and I and all my brothers and sisters and their families send you all our deepest sympathies.  You are in our hearts and our prayers.

My husband Larry and I want to extend to you our deepest sympathy.Larry's first job after graduation was working for your father. We then became friends with you parents and subsequently were able to spend some lovely evenings with them. When we moved to Kingston we were guests at the family cottage.
We have many pleasant memories of you Mom. She was so relaxed in all that she did.

Nora, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. Please give my condolences to your brothers for me,  I will try to get to the service today but it is a little doubtful as I have to do some errands which I cannot put off as I am expected.

To Walt, Peter and Nora -- I am terribly sorry to hear that your mother has passed away, but greatly relieved that it happened peacefully. Please accept my sincere regrets. I just wanted to say that both your parents figure prominently, and so very positively, in the memories I have of growing up on St. Leonard's. I can remember your Dad working in the garden and chatting w/ my mother or the Brabazons. I recall how your folks were ever so indulgent when, as kids, we'd jump into their backyard or sit up on the roof of that shed and peer down onto their patio. One summer, I remember, they invited my mother and I over several times and tried to teach us to play bridge, which was a charming gesture. I remember Misty and one of the grandmothers who'd sit on the front porch and watch the street. I remember the way your Mum would always be working on various piles of stuff at the dining room table when I'd drop in to hand over Xmas cookies or solicit a donation. They were both such wonderful, warm, kind-spirited individuals, and it was just a great honour to have known them both. I was also grateful to have had an opportunity several years ago to bring Jacob, then just a toddler, over for a visit before your Mum moved away from the street. She brought out a small box of Peter's old toy cars, and Jacob played happily with them on the floor of the living room.
